Besótico Records just released Mar?a Fernanda Aldana’s new album. She’s the bass player for the alternative rockers El Otro Yo, one of the biggest independent bands in Argentina. The album was recorded a couple of years ago at the Alianza Francesa of Buenos Aires and has twelve songs written and performed by her on piano, with help from Diego Vainer, Ezequiel Araujo, Raymundo Fajardo and other all time friends from El Otro Yo’s inner circle. It’s a very personal album (for example, one song was written by her late mother) with almost no relation with the group lead by her brother Cristian, with the exception of the already named musicians and the presence of María Fernanda’s vocals on some of the tracks (most of them are instrumental).
