Canciones Pegajosas
It means “sticky songs”, and it’s a compilation of ten songs by different independent bands from Argentina, which can be downloaded for free including it’s artwork.
And what’s so particular about this music compilation? Well, all songs are published under various Creative Commons licenses (check out the Wikipedia), and may be freely copied, distributed and performed, so long as it’s not done for commercial purposes and correct attribution is given to the artists (three of the songs also allow the creation of derivative works). Also, the cover image is a photograph that was published under CC by it’s author, Jessica Merz.

All songs are hosted by The Internet Archive, so a good transfer rate and permanent storage is granted. Beside the MP3s, each songs has it’s OGG version, the audio format that is patent-free.
You can send the songs to your friends, make a mix CD as a gift, blog about the artists, or even share them on P2P networks. Thanks a lot to all the bands for their collaboration and good vibes!
